TEACHING

Sarah Whiting is the Dean and William Ward Watkin Professor of Architecture at the School of Architecture at RiceUniversity. Ron Witte is an Associate Professor at the Rice School of Architecture.

Teaching gives Whiting and Witte the means to actively engage students, colleagues, and the entire spectrum of relationships that comprise university life. This engagement invigorates our understanding and evolution of architecture in relation to the world at large. Conferences, lectures, research, writing and day-to-day teaching are constant catalysts to the work of WW.

Prior to joining the faculty at Rice, Whiting and Witte taught at Princeton University, Harvard University, the University of Kentucky, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of Florida. They are frequent lecturers at universities and other institutions/organizations throughout the US and abroad.
